Having worked in financial services since 2002, I have longstanding experience in this industry, initially undertaking a Practice Manager role then moving to an Adviser position in 2004. Moran Wealth Management was subsequently established in 2007 with my Father, Michael Moran, who later retired in 2010. The business has developed and grown under my lead due to my commitment to continued Professional Development, achieving Chartered Financial Planner and Fellow of the Personal Finance Institute status in 2013. I am also Society of Later Life Adviser accredited since 2014.
The core values of trust and integrity have remained ingrained in our culture – we are committed to offering a comprehensive, professional and superior client experience. I hope to pass on some of my knowledge to clients and educate them so that they engage in their financial planning process. This will help them understand what they need to do to achieve their aspirations. I am very passionate about Financial Services and mostly enjoy offering added value to clients. I breakdown financial jargon and help to educate clients on complex financial matters to ensure they understand the actions we take.
Areas of specialism include: retirement planning, from the accumulation of assets to how to plan for your funds to last throughout life; intergenerational planning, how to pass on lifetime gifts or inheritances to your next generations: financial education; care planning needs for elderly, dependent adults or those with incapacity; business owner financial health checks; thorough holistic and bespoke financial advice.
The vast majority of my business is generated from retaining my existing clients and valuing their recommendation of Moran Wealth Management to their friends and family. I believe this is made possible by the backup support of my team and the loyalty that my clients continue to demonstrate. We aim to take the mystique out of financial planning and offer a face to face personable service. We commit to responding promptly and quite simply, keeping our promises to look after you.
Outside of financial services, I spend much loved time with my husband and my three children. I enjoy time with friends, reading and anything to do with the arts or travel. I am also undertaking a Masters in Wealth Management at Loughborough University, hoping to graduate in 2019. I like to give something back where I can and act as a local representative for the St. James’s Place Charitable Foundation.
